Making Connections Inside,
Creating Community Outside
Faith | Integrity | Sobriety | Health
When Mainers in corrections are released, they face significant and immediate challenges reintegrating back into their families and communities. To ensure their success, it is imperative that they have access to practical support, housing, employment, education, job training, discipleship, emotional healing, and mentoring.
What We Do
The Transformation Project provides support to Mainers during the three stages of reentry:
- Inside Lockup. We develop relationships with inmates and the Department of Corrections.
- During Transition. We offer support and resources to inmates as they prepare to reenter our communities.
- On the Outside. We help secure housing, employment, and life-skills training upon release.
